Co-Founder & President
Lance Spivey is the Co-Founder and President of StratiFi Health. With over 22 years of healthcare experience in strategic, operational, and financial management, Spivey's broad experience enables him to be a high-impact executive. He is the sponsoring executive for StratiFi Health’s Catalyst Health Network, a clinically integrated network of independent primary care physicians who have come together to provide high-quality care and improved patient outcomes within value-based contract structures.
Spivey’s background has uniquely prepared him for his role as Co-Founder and President of StratiFi Health. His leadership in the healthcare industry encompasses roles in strategy, operations and finance and accounting, including five years as Vice President of Operations for the employed physician company of a large Integrated Delivery System in Dallas, Texas, where he oversaw business and practice management activities for several hundred multi-specialty physicians. During his tenure, the company grew from 35 physicians to over 450 physicians.
In 2010, Spivey founded StratiFi Partners, a healthcare consulting and CFO services firm providing strategic, operational and financial consulting services to outpatient healthcare businesses (primarily independent physician–related). As a result of his vast healthcare experience encompassing all aspects of the business, Spivey possesses a thorough understanding of the unique needs of physicians, payers, employers and the overall healthcare community. This insight enables him to be an influential executive, able to innovate and deliver strategic and practical solutions for physicians, networks and employers in today’s dynamic healthcare environment.
Spivey has specialized experience in physician network creation and operation, physician/hospital integration strategies, healthcare joint ventures, strategic financial modeling and analysis, physician practice governance and leadership, physician compensation, ambulatory surgery center financial management, physician-owned hospital financial management, and public speaking.
He began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP, working in the Audit and Business Advisory practice with healthcare clients. Spivey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration (with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration) from the University of Colorado, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
