SENIOR Revenue Cycle Analyst


  • Reviews payment postings for accuracy and to ensure account balances are current

  • Payment posting and insurance verification

  • Review patient statements for accuracy

  • Reviewing and submitting patient claims

  • Reviews reports, identifies denied claims, researches and resolves issues, may perform a detailed reconciliation of accounts, resubmits claim to payer

  • Works with Revenue Cycle team to resolve payment and billing errors

  • Answers patient’s payment, billing, and insurance questions and resolves complaints

  • Contacts payers to resolve payer issues, expedite claim processing and maximize medical claim reimbursement

  • Maintains credit balances of patients and payers ensuring timely refunds within government guidelines/regulations

  • Interact with client

  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports and identify areas of opportunity

  • Create and manage key internal reports and dashboards used to make day to day and strategic decisions

  • Develop models to measure and project performance

  • Perform detailed analytics to develop supporting data and insights to drive value-based decisions

  • Training and mentoring new Analysts

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement

  • Clear and concise process documentation

  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • 5+ years healthcare industry experience

  • Highly detail oriented, with strong organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills to upper management

  • Strong financial analysis skills, analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity

  • Investigate problems and develop/communicate solutions

  • Meet assigned deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service

  • Act and operate independently, with minimal supervision

  • Model and analyze complex data sets as well as financial statements

  • Manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities

  • Supervisory role and project planning experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with eCW platform

  • Strong Excel skills preferred 

  • Medical terminology
