health and wellness program manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Health & Wellness Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day fitness center operations and developing, implementing and exceeding annual corporate health and wellness incentives. We are seeking a fun loving, energetic team member who has a passion to make a difference in the health and well-being of StratiFi Health Associates at our corporate fitness site. This individual will be self-motivated to provide best in class innovative solutions to help engage individuals in their customized health and wellness goals, while driving to elevate our corporate incentives and annual goals. This position is critical to enhance Associate satisfaction in the work place as it relates to the seven dimensions of well-being.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Foster an environment of strong positive relationships and process innovation

  • Supports company mission, goals and objectives

  • Strategic planning with Leadership to drive annual corporate health and wellness goals

  • Lead Associate activity involvement efforts and participate in the corporate annual health and wellness goals

  • Participates as a team player, constantly supporting others while setting an example of high personal and professional conduct for employees and other

  • Effectively communicates and provides verbal and insightful feedback

  • Identify opportunities to expand and enhance all aspects of the Health & Wellness Program, including, but not limited to: team development activity, fitness programs, fitness equipment, offsite activities, onsite food options, community outreach opportunity, and annual wellness incentives

  • Administer fitness assessments, provide results counseling, and assist members with reaching their personal training goals

  • Develop and teach safe and effective exercise programs; provide general supervision

  • Develop and implement creative incentive and health promotion programs

  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of the Program to ensure success

  • Supervise all facility staff and provide ongoing training and growth opportunities

  • Lead ongoing corporate Health and Wellness Program communication including; regular reports updates on annual incentives, upcoming activities, program publication, and event updates

  • Manage facility budgets for supplies, programming and group exercise

  • Ensure ongoing upkeep and maintenance of equipment and regulate equipment logs

  • Provide clear and concise education to help the understanding of the Health and Wellness Program

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field

  • 5 years related industry experience

  • Team management experience

  • Proven industry experience

  • Larger scale project planning experience

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

  • ACSM, ACE, NSCA, NASM or AFAA certification
