StratiFi Health is currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our accounting and finance team in Plano, TX.  The Financial Analyst will support clients in a variety of financial initiatives, working under the direction of the upper level Finance & Accounting resources.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Process/Operations
    • Work with all levels of Management at clients to collect data to support implementation of processes to improve client profitability
    • Collaborate with the finance and accounting team to provide analysis to clients based on historical performance, variance analysis, industry benchmarks and other key performance indicators
    • Complete fee schedule analysis to optimize client revenue
    • Produce production management reports and reviews revenue cycle key performance indicators
    • Facilitate the collection of due diligence items for Mergers and Acquisitions
    • Assist in physician practice start-up forecasting and financial and accounting process implementation
    • Client support related to various practice management systems and accounting inquiries
    • Ad-hoc analysis to provide clients margin analysis, staffing models, budgeting and proforma modeling
  • Analysis
    • Define problems and identify solutions; possess strong time management skills
    • Develop and/or improve preliminary deliverables for client engagements
  • Training
    • Support team in producing quality reporting
    • Support other team members when needed
  • Client Relations
    • Gain confidence of client personnel
  • Communications
    • Collect and organize data to draw valid conclusions with attention to detail.
    • Collaborate and contribute as a strong team member, and have good communication skills, orally and in writing
  • Additional Functions
    • Follow guidelines on engagement as established by other team members who are leading the project effort
    • Monitor individual schedule, work priorities and tasks
    • Plan and organize individual projects and responsibilities
    • Track and record time spent on client projects

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1+ years' financial analysis work experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel & relational databases
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Practice Management Systems preferred
