director of Revenue Cycle

StratiFi Health is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to direct and manage a leadership team overseeing 30 Revenue Cycle Analysts in a centralized office.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the revenue cycle function end to end and position the department for rapid growth

  • Manage and is accountable for all business activities that relate to insurance & patient billing and collections

  • Regularly provide Executive and CFO teams with revenue cycle reports and metrics

  • Ensure all billing and collections processes are completed accurately and timely

  • Regularly assess goals and metrics to identify process and efficiency improvements

  • Ensure all billing and collections processes adhere to governmental guidelines

  • Set and benchmark departmental goals

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with clients

  • Identify and resolve billing and collection discrepancies

  • Identify staffing needs

  • Screen, interview, and hire high caliber employees

  • Assure productivity of each Senior Manager

  • Counsel staff with disciplinary and productivity issues

  • Review current Revenue Cycle best practices, technology and processes to implement at StratiFi Health

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, or healthcare administration; Master’s degree preferred

  • 10 years of revenue cycle management experience, 5 years of revenue cycle consulting also preferred

  • Expert knowledge of medical billing and collections

  • Management experience

  • Understand and demonstrate knowledge of revenue cycle processes, AR aging analysis and follow up

  • Must have working knowledge of government collections processes (Medicaid and Medicare)

  • Identify trends

  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships

  • Proven track record managing staff productivity and quality

  • Proven track record of successful process improvement in account resolution

  • Meet assigned deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with eCW platform

  • Medical Terminology

  • Insurance carrier knowledge

  • Large scale project management experience

  • Ability to present issues to providers/clients with proposed solutions
